Title
WPA National Youth Administration constructing stone building Arizona
Description
The National Youth Administration built the National Parks and some buildings. The buildings typically needed to be built anyway, but the government did not have the manpower or money to hire some to build them. The Works Progress Administration, or the National Youth Administration would not have had to make up projects for those in the programs as there were jobs that were not critical, but were needed, that were not getting done. The National Youth Administration was useful as it provided young health men, in need of a job, to the government to complete buildings such as the one above.
