Title
Votes for Women a Success. Imitation is the Sincerest Form of Flattery.
Subject
The spread of female suffrage.
Description
A map with the dates of states giving women suffrage. Digitization of a map. 1914. World War I begins that year, female suffrage had been started in the west to bring in more settlers. The states that have given suffrage to women are next to each other and there is a span of about forty years between the first and last states to grant women suffrage on the map. Therefore, if giving women suffrage did not work, the states would have known and it would not have spread to other states.
